Boost Bundles

Boost Bundles provides essential personal care items to individuals who have experienced sexual assault and are receiving treatment in hospital emergency rooms. These kits offer comfort and support to both women and men in our local communities, aiding survivors during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Distributed by hospital advocates from the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA), the kits are available at more than 30 hospitals across the Kansas City metropolitan area, spanning both sides of the state line. The program is designed to help survivors whose clothing is retained by the police as evidence, offering them a way to leave the hospital with dignity and in comfort.

Boost KC is the sole organization providing this vital service in collaboration with MOCSA. Since its inception in 1997, the program has supported countless individuals, ensuring that survivors can exit the hospital with essential clothing and personal items. Each kit costs approximately $30.00 to produce, and every kit is carefully assembled by our dedicated volunteers, committed to offering care and compassion during a challenging moment in the lives of assault survivors.
