Boosting Communities,
Enriching Lives

Join Us in meeting essential needs for a thriving Kansas City

Boost KC (formerly known as Assistance League of Kansas City) operates eight philanthropic programs that serve a wide range of individuals in the greater Kansas City area, from infants to senior citizens. These programs are designed to address unmet needs within the community, offering support to those who are unable to provide for themselves or whose families are unable to meet their basic needs. Each program follows defined guidelines to ensure it is administered effectively, with the goal of alleviating the consequences of poverty and crisis for both children and adults in our community.

Pickleball Fun!

Join us for Dinks for a Difference, a community-driven pickleball tournament benefiting Boost KC and its philanthropic programs. This exciting event brings together players, supporters, and local partners for a fun day of competition, connection, and giving back. Your participation and partnership help ensure the success of the tournament while making a meaningful and lasting impact in our community.

We Believe

We are committed to providing essential unmet needs to individuals living without basic necessities, recognizing that by uplifting one person, we uplift entire communities. Our mission is to restore dignity, well-being, and self-worth through access to fundamental resources, fostering a stronger, more compassionate society for all.

When essential needs are met in the community, families will flourish

When we clothe a child, we give them confidence to succeed in school

When we inspire a young teen, we can change the trajectory of their lives

When we give adults the opportunity to earn a degree, it lifts the entire community
